A couple quick memories (by David):
The number one memory for me is all the vacations that we took. We always traveled by car. We always drove straight through to where ever it was that we were going. We always were polite and cordial.... I can recall these trips vividly and with great fondness.
It seemed like dad's number one destination was Salt Lake. He used to threaten that he was going to move to the "great valley" , but could never leave Zion. Many times we'd travel during the General Conference time so that Dad could attend general conference. He seemed happy to make this kind of sacrifice. Interestingly enough, he passed away a day or two after the October conference in 1981.
